You'll find it right in the heart of Paris, off the Champs Elysées, but you'll be surprised how quiet it is! Why? Because it's located right in the middle of Le Petit Palais... Tip: when you walk in ask for a free ticket to the "permanent collections", you can then walk in to this little secluded garden and enjoy a two course meal (including a glass of wine and coffee) for 24 € ! BTW, I took this photo Friday morning, as you can see we're having a sort of Indian summer at the moment.

Sat, 05 Nov 2011 23:05:01 GMThttp://mysoup.tenin.com/post/192081706/Another-good-addressurn:www-soup-io:1:192081706regularmust seemuseum08threstaurant Biking on the Champs Elysées
08th","Champs Elysées","Sun
regular
Biking on the Champs Elysées
http://www.parisdailyphoto.com/2011/10/biking-on-champs-elysees.html

Another nice dawn view on the Champs Elysées. Because the architect (Edouard François), had to solve a problem: unify 7 different era buildings into a unique one. He had the clever idea to hide them behind this facade, that he calls a "concrete 3D wall paper with glass windows hanging like paintings". Pretty creative... BTW, it's a hotel and it's located at the corner of rue Quentin Bauchard and rue Vernet, just off the Champs Elysées.

Mon, 08 Aug 2011 22:07:00 GMThttp://mysoup.tenin.com/post/152883405/Creative-architectureurn:www-soup-io:1:152883405regularmust see08thunusualbuilding Vive l'Australie !
Event","08th","Champs Elysées

Today the Tour de France landed on the Champs Elysées, like every year since 1975. I'm not kidding, it's really worth the trip...

Fri, 10 Sep 2010 22:05:00 GMThttp://mysoup.tenin.com/post/75933589/My-own-private-gardenurn:www-soup-io:1:75933589regular08thgarden Joan of Arc at Saint Augustin
08th","French history","Statue
regular
Joan of Arc at Saint Augustin
http://www.parisdailyphoto.com/2010/08/joan-of-arc-at-saint-augustin.html

There are three statues of Joan of Arc in Paris - I generally show the one by the Louvre, at the entrance of rue de l'Amiral Coligny (the street that leads to the PDP picnic area!) but for once, let me show you another magnificent one.
